SAW24-25 Workshop

The annual SHREC Workshop took place January 14-15, 2025 and was graciously hosted by SHREC member, Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas. The meeting was attended by center members, faculty, and research students from each of the four sites, totaling 105 participants.

A NEW VANTAGE: SHREC SELECTED FOR NEXT SPACE MISSION

Space Missions

SHREC supports many space missions led by partners and has led three missions on ISS. These include STP-H5-CSP (launched on SpaceX-10 in 2017), STP-H6-SSIVP (launched on SpaceX-17 in 2019), and STP-H7-CASPR (launched on SpaceX-24 in 2021, shown above) c/o the DoD Space Test Program (STP). The team is now leading and developing their fourth, called STP-H12-VANTAGE, which is scheduled for delivery to NASA later in 2026 and launch in 2027.
